Is acupuncture a permanent cure?

Introduction:

Acupuncture can be a permanent cure, but it all depends on the condition presented. For example, if a patient is working and he or she is experiencing symptoms due to their activities. It is then going to be difficult to treat and obtain permanent results. Patient will have to return for therapy at some point after the initial series of treatments. If the patient has only an acute issue for example, he or she woke up one morning with neck pain then most likely after a series of treatments the patient will be cured permanently.

Permanent results with the use of acupuncture is common for people with certain acute conditions.

These conditions are considered as:

  • All Muscle pain and spasms
  • Tendonitis
  • Backpain
  • Neck pain

Long lasting but not permanent conditions:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Dental pain
  • Headaches
  • Migraines
  • Labor pain

Conclusion:

Modern medicine has many negative effects. Scientific studies have proven that acupuncture relieves pain to what degree, it depends on the condition. Lifestyle and other environment factors are factors to consider to help a patient. Acupuncture has a cumulative effect and it takes time to obtain some results for more complex condition. If a patient needs to return for therapy every two weeks or once a month, it is still better than taking a medication everyday causing potential side effects.
